ABC Theatre: The Golden Sixties

Songs so-called golden sixties performed by Eva Pilarová, Ilona Csáková, Charles Martin Chodúr or Christmas come alive in Prague's Divadlo ABC on Thursday, November 6th at 19 o'clock. A musical performance called golden sixties are celebrating the youngest singing bandleader Peter Lush Sovič five years, the Orchestra's Golden Big Band Prague.

Concert offers a program consisting of Czech and Slovak folk songs of the sixties of the last century, such as the way you knew it, is dangerous to touch the stars there for water in the reeds, Lady Carnival or what is love, and will at the same time the memory of the famous Czech lyricist Zdenek Borovce, George Štaidl, Jiri Suchy and Zdenek Knight. Part of the concert will be the baptism of their first single vocalist Petra owl and Golden Big Band Prague named Gramophone, which will be christened singer Eva Pilarová.

Part of the proceeds from ticket sales for the concert will be donated Endowment Fund for premature babies and their families. Special guests of the concert will be other singers who with Golden Big Band regularly perform, among others Jan Smigmator, Pavlina Filipovská, Patricia, Susan Vlčeková or Prime Time Voice. At the concert will also feature songs Two years of accident-free ride, I would like to have a band, Black Diamonds, Best best best, Swing bells over us and Blues for you. Alone bandleader Peter Sovič to a selected repertoire, says: "Songs of the Sixties are wonderful pieces that besides imaginative melodies sounds mostly Czech texts. Now they place great emphasis, as Czech in conjunction with swing music is unique and irreplaceable combination. "

All the visiting artists will be accompanied by a large orchestra playing live Golden Big Band Prague. He first appeared on the Czech music scene in the spring of 2011 and in five years it has become a popular music ensemble that performs regularly at jazz festivals, cultural events at home and abroad and is accompanied by Czech and foreign performers. They were founded by trumpeter and singer Peter Sovič, currently the youngest singing bandleader in the Czech Republic, a trombonist Oldrich Prusa, who helped the singer at the very beginning. For his vocal patterns Sovič regarded as Mel Torma, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Ray Charles, the Czech musicians influenced him, for example, Karl Hala, Waldemar Matuska, Karel Gott and Milan Chladil.

In the ranks of Golden Prague Big Band appear in search Path jazz instrumentalists such as saxophonists Bharata Rajnošek and Andrew Klimek trombonisté George walked away, Miroslav Copt and Josef Pospisil, trumpeters Richard Hora or Jůzl Martin and guitarist Christopher Tomeček and drummer Jan Linhart. Golden Big Band Prague is so musical ensemble, which adds to the originality and different views of two generations of musicians.
