Prague drinks wine - without chemistry

The Prague Drinks Wine Festival brings Prague for the fourth time the best producer of authentic wines. Even this year, you will be able to taste wines from 70 winemakers from many countries. As well as last year, the tasting will take place in the historical premises of the New Town Hall.

The new food festival corner will be in front of the town hall and the Charles Square area . Visitors will have the opportunity to sample selected delicacies, for example, from the hands of Michelin cook Romano Paulus . The surroundings of the city hall will be closed for cars throughout the Saturday and turn into a pedestrian zone.

The festival, whose motto this year is "Wine and Stars" , follows the long tradition of regular meetings of wine-growers of the former Austria-Hungary. Visitors can therefore look forward to a strong representation of winemakers mainly from the Central European region: Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, but also Italy and France, represented mainly by the Champagne wineries.

"For this year we have prepared a novelty, a food corner for the area before the New Town Hall around the St. John's Fountain. Josef and the busts of Vítězslav Hálek. There will be a gastronomic microcosm whose center will be star Alcron and La Rotonde with Michelin chef Roman Paulus. Other delicacies will be offered by the Krasolesí cheese factory, Matuska brewery, Cascara Fizz and Café Lounge, the stars will be twenty-one, " says Bogdan Trojak, a poet and winemaker, one of the main organizers of the festival.

The idea behind the festival remains the effort to present the best of the offer of authentic wines, which is also called natural or natural, to the public. They are grown and manufactured without hard chemicals and artificial additives.
