Smokie is preparing 6 concerts in Bohemia and Moravia

Pull off vinyl records, brush up hits, and give tribute to legend legends. SMOKIE, together with the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, will delight their fans in our country as well. Next year you can meet them in Brno, Zlín, Ostrava, Plzeň, Pardubice and Prague.

The musical groups playing and playing 50 years are really few and those that have so many hits that they can not be counted even less. Here are probably just Beatles, AC / DC, Queen, Rolling Stones, Abba and SMOKIE .

Living Next Door To Alice, Needles And Pins, Oh Carol, I'll Meet You At Midnight, If You Know How To Love Me, Do not Play Your Rock'n'Roll To Me, Lay Back In The Arms Of Someone, Something's Been Making Me Blue, Wild Wild Angels, Mexican Girl, For A Few Dollars More, Take Good Care Of My Babe - this is 12 hits you'll definitely enjoy at the concerts in Bohemia and Moravia in December 2018. And there will be many more. Many songs from the Smokie repertoire have received the honor in the Czech Republic that they have literally gotten into Czechoslovakia with us. You are sure to hear these songs, Soap Prince (Václav Neckář), Alenka in the Wonderland (Karel Zich), Oh, Harold (Helena Vondráčková) or Singing only rock music, nothing more (Radek Tomasek).

Smoky in the Czech Republic will bring FP PRO for the first time, which has already prepared a tour of Gregorian 2017 for its audience, or the up-and-coming, symphonic gala concert of the Royal Christmas Gala with Sarah Brightman, Gregorian and their amazing guests. "Smokie I love my whole life, their music gives me joy and good mood, and the lyrics are really memorable. I want to delight myself and all the people who like SMOKIE like me. We have prepared SMOKIE series of exceptional symphonic concerts with the support of the great Hungarian Philharmonic DANUBIA ORCHESTRA ÓBUDA and the special Czech guest of the MAYBE group, which SMOKIE have chosen from a selection of many domestic artists. Maybe he also plays his amazing Heaven, Response, Magnetic Field, Colosseum or America in a symphonic performance, " says promoter Miroslav Bučko.

Great care is taken in this project also on the visual side, high-quality sound and light technology or large-scale projections. "It will be a truly spectacular show, which is being prepared in the Czech Republic and Hungary. We asked the best masters of our field for cooperation. The audience will surely be delighted that the photos and videos from the SMOKIE archive will be used on large-screen shows for the past 50 years, " adds Miroslav Bučko.

The first hit SMOKIE, which made the band famous in 1975 practically all over the world, was the song If You Know How To Love Me . One of the band's founders, bass guitarist Terry Uttley, says: "We've been a club for seven years, we've played in a lot of strange places, in rock clubs, strip clubs, or in bars where a lot of strange things were smoked ). And then suddenly, it was a beautiful summer of 1975 and I really remember it, we recorded the hit-single If You Know How To Love Me and literally overnight we became stars all over the world. Without this song, we would never be performing at all the amazing places of the planet. I'm looking forward to playing this song in a symphonic version. It will be a beautiful memory of all the unforgettable times I have experienced with SMOKIE. I believe all our fans will be with us. "

The concerts will take place in December 2018 in Brno, Zlín, Ostrava, Plzeň, Pardubice and Prague. Tickets are already on sale.
