The Concert of Honor to Paul Bobko, associated with the commemoration of Pavel Bobek's singer, will take place on September 16 at 7 pm at Bez railing Theater in Prague. An event that reminds of this legend of Czech rock and roll and country music will include Marie Rottrova, Petr Janda, Robert Christian, Kateřina García, Pavlína Jíšová, Yvonne Přenosilová and other performers. The musicians will be accompanied by the Second Grass band ...

... His classmates from the time of studies and art colleagues such as architect Eva Jiřičná , actor Petr Nárožný or Luděk Sobota , as well as the music critic Jiří Černý or the writer and publicist Jiří Poštulka and other guests, recall the spoken word for the singer. The concert will also offer Bob's photos projected by Alan Pajr, former photographer of the presidential office. Pavel Bobek would be 81 years old on September 16th.

The Concert of Tribute to Pavel Bobkiewicz is organized by ADN with Bez Bezrad Theater in close cooperation with Pavel Bobek's family. Visitors can enjoy the biggest Bob's hits, such as the duet with Marie Rott. With that fool, do not start anything that originally sang Kenny Rogers with Dolly Parton. Then there are the songs Come on, the dove from John Denver with the Czech text by Vladimír Poštulka or Oh, Ruby, do not want my love to be duplicated by Jiří Grossmann and many other songs. All of this in the presence of the musical guests who accompanied Bob Bobko with his musical career.

Pavel Bobek was born in 1937 and graduated from the grammar school, his classmate was also Jan Kaplický. At the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, as well as all his contemporaries, he dropped rock and roll and began to sing with FAPS faculty. As a trained engineer, the architect joined the Big Brother Company, where he worked in one project group with his college colleagues Rangers and the radio debriefing Mirko Černý and Petr Nárožný.

From 1963 to 1965 he sang with the band Olympic, and in 1967 he joined the Semafor where he worked until 1990. He was one of the first in Czechoslovakia to sing and promote rock and roll, first in English, followed by Czech lyrics, he always carefully selected and as the first Czech singer he became, in the true sense of the word, the "interpreter" of many famous American songs.

Critics appreciated his credible and informal gift of interpretation, which was further enhanced by the singing and punishing emphasis on a careful Czech translation of the original English texts.

The breakthrough for Paul Bob was a meeting with singer Johnny Cash
, whom he met personally at the American Embassy in 1978. He then sang together at the Prague Cash Concert, which he commented on for Czech TV. This is one of my last albums I do not want to see , critics highly appreciated by Pavel Bobek in 2010 with producer Luboš Malina directly in studio in Nashville, USA, accompanied by several original Cash Musicians. Following was the intimate album " Circles ," released as a singer of life.
In March 2013, Pavel Bobek entered the Court of Honor of the Music Awards Andel and died in November of the same year.
