The first weekend in February 2017, will be in a popular shopping mall belong traditionally Festival of ice sculptures. The sixth edition will be held on 4th and 5th of February and carries the title of icy worlds statesmen.
Ice sculptures on the theme of world political leaders take turns fairytale characters from bedtime stories that were on Harfě seen last year. Ready is also an interesting program and small competitions.
Festival of ice sculptures is the sixth year a popular mainstay of the program Galerie Harfa. It takes place on its roof and becomes a pleasant change weekend shopping. Each year a skilled artists from the Czech Republic and abroad will create some incredible sculptures which are thematically revolves around a single unit. Over the years there have replaced character
from Czech cartoons, famous athletes, stars of the Winter Olympics or animals
the Polar Zoo. This year here in one place, meet the world's leading statesmen.
There will also be our head of state, President Milos Zeman, and the Queen of England, newly inaugurated American president Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the first African-American US President Barack Obama, popular and damned Finance Minister Andrej Babis or Bohuslav Sobotka. Then the second weekend in February to Harfě not miss!
On the spot, you can see how the rough ice cubes changes in human portraits as if their drafts spitting. You can participate in the vote for the most beautiful statue and thus support their favorite among artists or exhibits. Voting results will be declassified on Sunday afternoon.
If not on the first weekend of February you miss, do not despair. Statues on the roof will be on display until the spring thaw.
