Joe Lovano traditionally embarking on bold conceptual and thematic projects and excels both in finding novel ways of artistic expression and new ways of redefining jazz idiom. This effort did not escape nor its experts and Millennium native of Cleveland won a Grammy for the now iconic record 52nd Street Themes. Nordic thread of the evening will follow a progressive saxophonist Marius Neset. Neset was born in Norway but now lives in Copenhagen. At the beginning of 2015 once again delivered highly acclaimed album Pinball, which will form a crucial part of the Brno festival performances.


April part of the festival will offer concerts, among others Poogieho Bella drummer, pianist Beata Hlavenková, Concept Art Orchestra big band or jazz legends Czech evening with guest Peter Lipa.
