Madrid wants to expel from their city cars

Madrid mayor, Manuela Carmena, wants the main street of the Spanish capital to see the end of his term without cars, writes the Independent.

Today crowded six-lane highway in central Madrid, Gran Vía, has three years to be open only for motorcycles, buses, taxis and of course walking.
