The Jazz Dock starts Swiss Spring For seven nights, the Prague Jazz Dock dresses in Swiss colors. As part of an extensive project Swiss Spring, who throughout March is not only a contemporary Swiss culture and the arts, offering renowned Jazz Dock club attractive selection of contemporary Swiss jazz and alternative scene.

Already the first March will present young Homeland Quartet (pianist Gabriele Pezzoli and Nolan brothers, Simon and Brian Quinn), who is creative and sophisticated music, full zahloubaných melodic lines, impressionistic scales and spontaneous improvisation on a high level.
With his trio will perform on the 8th Mar. excellent trombonist and composer Samuel Blaser, known among other things, from collaboration with Pierre Favre and Paul Motian.
Lucien dubius Trio offers 9th March crossover jazz, which according to some experts and cross coltraneovské colemanovské genes with DNA Beastie Boys.
Other concerts 15th March one of the most exciting young generation of Swiss musicians - pianist Marc Perrenoud with his trio. A day later, the project appears interesting solos songwriter Stéphanie Riondel.
Rusconi Trio performs 22nd March his concept called Überjazz, standing outside the normal category, but it is full of freshness and energy. On their latest CD participated in the famous musician Fred Frith.
Final concert series will be the 23rd March include a trio of great musicians Rom / Schaerer / Eberle. This is another project in our already well-known singer Andreas Shaerera.

Through March will be marked by cultural, social, economic, political, architectural, but also culinary, sports and tourism events Swiss spring. Fresh alpine wind will bring us a mosaic of dozens of concerts, exhibitions, discussions and educational programs with the best of contemporary Swiss culture, economy and politics.

In the multi-genre project called Swiss Spring, underpinned by the Swiss Embassy in Prague, we meet with the names and concepts that symbolize exclusive quality in many ways the identity of this Alpine country: conductor Kaspar Zehnder, songwriter Sophie Hunger, Swiss education, gastronomy in individual cantons, beautiful landscapes, but also sophisticated transportation structure and quality tourist services, the political system with elements of direct democracy and the key role cantons, or relationship to the environment, sustainable development and many others. Swiss colors come alive not only Prague, Brno, Liberec, Olomouc, Hradec Králové, but also the beginnings, Cologne, Trebon, Letohrad or Orlova - the places that bind relationships with Swiss cities or cantons.
