Ebony Brothers release a new album Time glades

The new album titled "Time glades" is the fifth studio album Band of Brothers Ebenové. Published in mid-October 2014 on CD, LP and USB.

The album contains 13 new songs. The author of all (music and lyrics) is Marek Eben. The exception is goodbye and farewell, a poem, the Statue. Lyrics Rue is then written on the theme of W. Shakespeare. Now Rue is the only single from the album, sung by Marek Eben, but dear guest album, singer Barbara Kabátková.

The album was recorded entirely analog studio SONO records sound engineer Paul Rich and under the supervision of producer and guitarist Paul Rocks. The band has since 2002, when I recorded the album at doing that works is invariably report. In addition to Mark, Christopher and David ebony band consists of Paul Rock (guitar), George Smith (bass, accordion), Jiří Zelenka (drums and percussion) and Jaromír Honzák (bass). As a guest on several tracks participated in jazz trumpeter Oskar Török.

Mix album took the legendary British engineer Phill Brown. The music industry is in a well-known personalities - from the list of icons in the music industry, he worked mention Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Cat Stevens, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd or Dido and many others. Mastering was entrusted (as in the case of the previous album Bread) Andy "Hippy" Baldwin Metropolis Studios in London. Graphics took the band's longtime collaborator, Charles medallion with Ludek Kubik. Photos taken for the album, as well as on the previous album Jaroslav Prokop.
The album release party will be held 19 and 20 November 2014 in the Studio Theatre DVA in Prague.

A little about the band

Band of Brothers Ebenové was brotherly trio - Mark, Christopher and David and were on the Czech music scene with his approach unique. The sons of renowned composer Petr Eben (1929 - 2007) received a classical music education, while absorbing influences of modern folk, jazz and rock music. With the ability to draw from all these sources and unusual art using a variety of musical instruments, was absolutely unusual, the Czech scene inimitable "ebenovský sound". Additionally, in conjunction with exceptional texts were brothers Mark Ebenové for folk scene revelation.

Frequency band for issuing new albums in no hurry about it more but worth waiting. The first album "Little Songs in the Dark" was released in 1984, the second album was created until eleven years later, in collaboration with Charles Plíhal - "silent treatment" (1995). The album has already discovered the musicians of the band ETC ... and just like his previous album and double bassist Jaromír Honzák. They collaborate with the band to this day. Thus, even on subsequent albums "I'm doing it" (2002)

After the release of the album started again Ebenové Brothers concert, filmed concert DVD "Ebens in the Garden" (2004), recorded the music for the new series of bedtime Mach and Sally, for a fabulous CD "Tales of the Brothers Grimm" (with songs Eben Brothers), several audiobooks (Male Who Planted Trees, Advent calendar) and also music for Czech television series "Poste Restante". In 2008 released album "Sandwiches".

In addition to the trio of brothers ebony - So Mark, Christopher and David form a rhythm band operating out of another band ETC Vladimir Mišík - Jiri Vesely (bass guitar, accordion), Jiří Zelenka (drums, percussion) and Paul Rock (acoustic and electric guitars). The band is now inextricably complemented by an excellent jazz double bassist Jaromír Honzák.
